Scott Lyon
Attorney Scott Lyon earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Emory University in Atlanta, GA where he majored in Economics. He then taught at a high school outside Chicago in a program for at-risk youth. After teaching, Scott decided to attend Marquette University Law School.
Following his first year in law school, Scott clerked for the Honorable James A. Morrison, Marinette County Circuit Court, Branch II. Scott earned a CALI award for excellence in his Appellate Writing and Advocacy class. He then interned at the Governor’s Office of Legal Counsel in Madison.
Scott also held leadership positions in the Marquette University Law School Chapter of the Federalist Society and became the organization’s President in his third year of law school. In his last year in law school, he participated in the Prosecutor Clinic at the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office.
Scott graduated from Marquette with his Juris Doctor degree in 2019. He opened Lyon Law in November 2019 in Marinette, Wisconsin. In October 2023, he became licensed in Michigan. He represents clients in Marinette, WI and Menominee, MI.
